Di, rapaz mentiroso, ¿es esto cuanto
me prometiste presto y a pie quedo?
¿Andar mirando entre esperanza y miedo,
cercado de respetos, hecho un tanto?

Sustos, celos, favores, risa y llanto
dalos, Amor, a quien se lame el dedo;
los que me diste a mí te vuelvo y cedo,
no quiero tomar más cosa de espanto.

Bien siento las heridas y que salgo
de tu poder para ponerme en cura,
porque tengo aún abiertas las primeras.

Y juro por la fe de hijodalgo
de si mi buen propósito me dura
de no partir de hoy más contigo peras.
