De Quien calla otorga Acto II, AURORA
¿Qué mudanzas, decid, envidia mía,
son éstas, que a mi amor hacen Proteo?
¿Cuando os pensáis quietar, loco deseo,
que amáis, no la elección, más la porfía?
Al conde quiero ya que aborrecía;
porque Narcisa pone en él su empleo,
al español me inclino porque veo
que en ella amor, y celos en mí cría.
Sombra soy de mi hermana. A cualquier parte
que va su voluntad, doy en seguilla;
y sin amar, amor me da desvelos.
Mas si su hacienda entre las dos reparte
mi padre aun hasta aquí, ¿qué maravilla
que ella herede el amor y yo los celos?
