Ya rijas, ya depongas el tridente,
siempre se muestra en ti lo soberano;
que es grande para oculto el Océano
de luz en tus virtudes transparente.
Si por la Majestad más eminente,
del mundo el freno se le dio a tu mano;
que mucho que en el círculo troyano
de tu Deidad sea título tu frente.
No puedes ser más Rey, ni más divino,
que son divinidades tus acciones,
y el Sol aún tu corona no rodea.
El valor y el acierto en ti es destino,
a tu sangre aún se deben más blasones,
pues tienes menos de Austria, que de Astrea.
