Levanta el desear el pensamiento
con tal hervor, que todo el mundo es mío.
Vuelven en seso todo el desvarío
la fuerza y la verdad del sentimiento.
Mi corazón do ama es tan atento,
que el bien y el mal yo mismo me le crío,
tanto, que ya por puro amor confío
de sostener mis torres en el viento.
Cuanto entra en mí, se muda todo luego
en el placer que del amor influye;
mi bien fingido pasa por verdad.
Esto no es mucho, pues que traigo fuego,
que cuanto toma luego lo destruye
y lo convierte en otra calidad.
